Do I need a reservation? |
Reservations are highly recommended. Our Cat Lounge has a small capacity to allow for a more personalized experience. Therefore, walk-ins are accepted only when space is available. Fortunately, it’s very easy to make a reservation online.
Can I cancel or reschedule my reservation? |
You may cancel or reschedule your booking up until 24 hours prior to your visit. There are instructions on how to cancel or reschedule in your “Visit Confirmation” email. If you have further questions regarding cancelling or rescheduling, you can always give us a call during normal business hours at (980) 256 – 2119 and press "0" to be connected to the store.
Do you allow kids? Is there an age limit? |
We allow children ages 7 and up to visit the cat lounge if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 16, with a signed waiver. Children under the age of 7 are allowing during a Private Cat Lounge Experience - a special booking at a discounted rate that allows your party to have the lounge to themselves which will provide a calmer experience for your little one.
Why do you charge an entry fee for the Cat Lounge? |
The entry fee pays for cat medical care including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchips. It also helps cover cat food, litter, maintenance, and other costs of providing our kitties with the high-quality care they deserve. Entry fees allow us to continue to foster adoptable cats so that they can find their purrfect furrever homes.
When is the best time to visit the Cat Lounge? |
Our cats and kittens are friendly, playful, and enjoy spending time with humans. However, most cats sleep on and off throughout the day. No matter when you visit, you are likely to encounter a mix of cats playing, chilling and napping. While it’s hard to predict when the cats will be most awake, cats tend to be most active when we first open and around dusk (around 4pm). If you are interested in a more laid-back vibe, afternoon nap time is very relaxing and a good way to de-stress.
Can I bring my own cat? |
No, unfortunately, we must ask that you leave your own kitties at home.
I found a stray cat. Can I bring it to you? |
Unfortunately, we cannot directly accept outside animals into our care. All cats coming into Daily Mews must be properly vetted by a Veterinary professional through one of our rescue partners, including spay/neuter and vaccinations.
Can Daily Mews host my event? |
We would love to! Our private event packages start at $65 per hour and increase based on the number of people attending, the amount of space required, and the date/time of your event. We are an excellent venue for birthday parties. Please contact us via email at [email protected] or call us at 980-256-2119 for more information.
I'd like to visit when it is quieter. When is a good time? |
We are busiest on weekends and holidays. We suggest booking an appointment in the afternoon if you are looking for more one-on-one time with the cats. We also offer an option to book a private cat lounge visit to reserve the space for your group only at a discounted rate of $60.
